UV Absorber 531 is a benzophenone-type light stabilizer appearing as a pale yellow powder; it efficiently absorbs ultraviolet light in the 290–340 nm range and offers good compatibility and low migration.
It is primarily used in products such as PP, PE, PVC, coatings, and rubber to delay outdoor yellowing and degradation, and is often used in combination with hindered amines and antioxidants.

三、Mechanism of Action
It absorbs harmful ultraviolet radiation in the 290–340 nm range, converting light energy into harmless thermal energy for dissipation. This inhibits UV-induced photo-aging of polymers, thereby delaying yellowing, loss of gloss, chalking, embrittlement, and cracking in the finished product.
It is recommended to use this product in combination with Hindered Amine Light Stabilizers (HALS) and antioxidants (such as 1010 or 168) to achieve a synergistic effect and superior weather resistance.
